11/7/2007 - German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel meets AFS host student

AFS student Mary Johanna Stevens from Pittsburgh, USA (current participant of the Congress-Bundestag Program to Germany) was lucky to meet German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel, when the latter conducted the official opening ceremony of the “Rügenbridge”, a prestigeous construction project in the federal state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and one of the biggest bridges in Germany.
